Re: Server I/O error Cannot Upload |
I have a 1.35MB pdf that I've been trying to upload, so it can't be the size.
I had a little trouble with this last night, but after multiple attempts my last pdf got through.
This one today shows no promise, however.

Re: Server I/O error Cannot Upload |
Hi Gerry and dudeman,
we upgraded backend to a *much* more efficient way to upload files early in the week. that had some known hiccups/disruptions for some servers tues-wed -- fixed by EO wednesday.
then reports started coming in on "every other file upload failing" for flash uploader. i fixed that last nite -- related to windows (firefox and IE) glitching on keepalive so solution is to turn off keepalive globally on server when uploading.
the linux / nonflash was broken -- w/o me realizing it -- from about mon/tues to thurs or so. that should be fixed as of thursday.
all in all, huge upgrades in dec-jan so sorry about the glitches during this period!!

Re: Server I/O error Cannot Upload |
Tracey,
Thank you; generally the flash upload works well; in fact I complained to OClC concerning their upload 'Project Client' for Contentdm; which seems to get worse every-time they upgrade it.

Re: Server I/O error Cannot Upload |
Hello everyone. O just LOVE using your site for archiving and treasure the way that you provide zip file and stream download links. However, I have been having a problem uploading for month now. I read that the limit for uploads are 10 GB but I can't even upload 45MB mp3 files. I had to start breaking them up into parts to have them feature in the player. But recently, I would upload a 5 part audio of around 11-14 min each, but when I get to the page where the links and player embed code is, the second file is ALWAYS missing.
I really like your service, and would pay if I have to. I need this fixed. What can I do. I tried everything. Creative commons, ftp but none of those services either work or establishes a connection. I am struggling as I have a podcast and use IA player capabilities for my ENTIRe site to keep it uniform.
Help!
:) Ivin

Re: Server I/O error Cannot Upload |
I'm having the same issue, too. Tried to upload a .wav file, didn't work. So I converted it to .mp3, but still the same deal. I have no idea wtf, but I don't like it.
